Looking at buying this bike, a '70 FLH. Fellow is asking 8K obo...

Unsure which would be the better choice in the long run.

Both bikes look nice. I think $8000 is a bit high, just sold my '79 for $5500.00.

Ebayed my '76 FXE late last year for $7500, but that was then.

The hunt is on for the perfect shovelhead. 8K does seem a little high but I guess it depends on what the seller has in the bike.

Just made a offer of $6800 for the '70 FLH...he countered with $7400. Decisions, decisions...

They aren't getting any cheaper that's for damn sure , shovelhead values are climbimg faster than my 401K .

Not yet - Awaiting confirmation this Saturday on my original choice that it is indeed sold...then I will move forward. (It was a '75 Police unit I'm still lusting over)
