Thats some fine machining there. I would hate to keep it clean. When did full CNC machining come about? Maybe someoe here knows.
I know a fella north of Houston who created his own motor. It was called the "Turtle", a 90 degree 150 ci V-twin with a 4" throttle body and a 2 speed B&J. Some of the finest homemade stuff I've ever seen.
It's amazing what comes out of the small shops and garages around this country.

Remember that cut down alum block chevy based 2 cylinder 90 deg engine that guy did back in the late 70's ? Where he cut the front & rear sections off & welded them up & sleeved it , cut the stock 8 cyl. crank down & used the distributor, rod's & pistons off a 350 small block . I saw the original roughed in prototype running at a bike show , thing sounded strong as hell .

That motor actually went into production. I know where one is sitting. It was called a Super Vee. You could plug it into a 4sp frame and use a 4 speed tranny. It was just too butt ugly. Good idea though.

So who am I supposed to get in touch with for a mag chance? Just curious. I have posted on a few sites that are big in the HD area, and no one can say they have ever seen this kinda set up? Not that I am trying for that in question, but in general asking about the set up. Thanks.

Joe Hunt or Morris made mags for bikes and I've never seen that setup either including the old magazines

2 pics of the switch box that was made to house the kill, head light switch. Decided to cut off the revisions that hold them. Going to relocated them up hidden under the tank. So there will be no wires seen on the bike other then the plug wires. Should clean it up just a bit. More pics soon.
