46 Indian Clutch..
Sorry I know this ain't a shovel but thought you might like to have a look.
It was time for a clutch on my 46 Indian Chief.It got to where I could not kick it as it was slipping bad.The old fiber discs 7 of them were all different as far as thickness and in pretty bad shape.The basket,steels and springs all looked in good shape so they were reused.The new clutch was Kevlar and had 8 plates so I used all 8 doubleing up on the first 2 inside plates and that seems to work.All 16 springs are loose and that was a bit of a pain to keep all together while putting the basket back together.I was able to use a big C-clamp to help compress this mess to get it all together.I ran out of daylight but do hope to start it up in the morning..

jerry greer has a free parts book that is a must have any Indian owner you can restore the bike from the parts book and or fix anything as every piece is in the pages
