I have a 1971 Electra Glide and the handlebars have been changed. My new parts catalog does not show or give part number for the original handlebars. Could someone please look up in an old original parts book the part number for the original handlebars? A picture would also be nice. It would help me very much and would be very much appreciated. i am sorry i did tell you i would do this and it went right out of my head - the original book from 1971 lists the bar number as both sides being one number
55961-71 buckhorn chrome - right side with internal throttle w/ directional switch hole ---- that is the assenbly - they also made a bar without the directiional hole 56005-71
i do not know if those numbers are still used by harley today as they came form a 1971 parts book i have
