Cleanest way to do it, is to mount a rear brake junction block under the lower triple tree....use a 2 piece front brake line and a regular pressure switch.
The one on the master cylinder is probably an 3/8" x 24 unf brake line fitting...which means you can remove it and use a 3/8 banjo bolt in that hole...so you just need a new front brake line to use a banjo bolt switch there. The SAE flair 90 on the caliper is almost surely 1/8 NPT so you need to stick with a flair on that end...Goodridge and Russell and a few others make universal brakes lines with screw on ends that make it easy to build whatever brake line you need.

it might end up being 1/8X27 pipe thread - to me it does not have a sealing washer to the fitting like a banjo bolt - pipe thread on something like this is tapered and does not bottom --

Could be...but that master cylinder came tapped 3/8 24...and 3/8" x 24 unf SAE flair is one of the most common brake line fittings...I have never seen a crimp on brake line fitting that was 1/8 NPT(didn't say they don't make one) I bet they just bottomed out the flair fitting....he will have to take it apart to be sure.
the original banana caliper master cylinder has a 1/8 pipe thread in the end and a fitting to a flair for the metal line to rubber to metal original style front line - if the stuff he has is 30 years old it possable its first edition - it does not matter when he bought it

That is true, but the 1/8 pipe was on the adapter...not the hose itself...the factory hose flair fitting would screw in that MC...without changing anything...and a solid fitting like the one in the pic would probably seal if you put pipe dope on it and bottomed it out...not correct but I have seen people do dumber chit...lol.
