Rear muffler turned yellow...
The never happened to me...
Motor back together, 400 miles breaking it in, brand new Screaming Eagle slip on mufflers, same headers as before, just installed CV carb, 180 main and 45 pilot jets, new Andrews AB cam, FXRT '83, 80c.i.
400 miles breaking it, runs OK, didn't pushed it at all... many interstate miles (new 6 speed tranny)
The rear muffles only turned yellow right in the center of it... it started as a couple of spots that looked like burned oil.. tried to clean it but nothing, ,ooked like oil drops. After other 100 miles the center section had a yellow halo.... after other 400 it's got some blue.
Rear only, center of muffler only.. any ideas?
