Default Piece of cake

Added these over the weekend. Piece of cake.Took about 2 hours for me probably take more experienced guys less. Didnt touch the primary. I do have the mid shift shaft laying back there and need to figure a way to secure it and the other thing is the supplied cap doesnt fit over the mid shift spline so will need to figure out a way to cover that also.

Put 70 miles on er with the new set up trying to get used to it and I absolutely love it. I feel way more comfortable and attached to the bike than I did with Pegs (I'm 5'9 30 inch inseam). I was always worried forwards would be too far for me and this alternative is Egggggzactly what I was hoping for. Will post some pics tonite when I get home.

IMO it's not that hard to make one yourself...

Another option is to cut off the shaft along the inside between the primary case and the transmission ...

This is pretty hard since there isn't much room ... and I think the shaft is hardened ...

Then, there is a little plug that will cover the hole in the primary ... [as long as you don't do anything further, it will maintain the sealed primary since there is a 'tunnel' through which the shaft rides] ...

I went this route a few months after getting rid of the mid-controls ... it was hard to cut the shaft off, though ... (but, IMO less trouble than removing the inner primary case) ...

THEORETICALLY, wouldn't one be able to use the Switch Back's Heel Toe? Just a thought...

FYI - for anyone with a recent Wide Glide or Fat Bob, the kit won't work with the stock 2-into-1 exhaust. I got the shifter side on fine, but the rear mount on the brake side is blocked by the exhaust.

I was planning to change over to a Super Glide exhaust. Until then, I'm stuck with Frankenbike. It's just so wrong...
