I left my mid shift shaft in place and hasn't caused any problems. Gives me (or more likely the next owner) the option of easily going back.

I left mine in place and secured it in place using one of the brackets that FXD2003Rider pictured earlier in this thread.

I ordered the 50500247 Harley kit.
I would like to know your feedback about driving with transformation on your Harley ?
I have a question concerning the description of the work you have done to the dealer.
You talk about recurved braket to have the same higeness of the left footrest.
Could you tell me how the dealer process for recurved the brakets ?

Does anyone have the dimensions, I bought the 50500247 footboard kit to go on my fat bob but need to modify the right side with new brackets. I read wolf it had it done. Do you have dimensions for the 2 added brackets for the brake side
