I am part of a great group of folks that volunteer our time to help probably most worthy of charities....Make A Wish Colorado. This year is our 30th Frank's Ride For Children poker run. Last year we raised $24,570 and we are looking to make this year even better. All proceeds go to Make A Wish Colorado. Those of us involved with the planning and execution of this run do not get anything. We even pay for our own shirts and pay to be in the run as well.
Anyone in Colorado, or neighboring states...or, heck, that will be in the area May 14th and can make it is welcome to come on the run.
Tell your friends and family. All vehicles are welcome. We will have breakfast at the Moose for $5 before the run and BBQ and drinks at the final stop as part of your entry fee for the run.
Feel free to PM me if you have any questions or contact one of the folks listed on the flyer. If you are unfamiliar with Longmont, maybe we can meet up and I can show you to the Moose where all the fun begins.
Have you looked at listing this event on Let's Ride Colorado? That is how I find out about most of the rides/events I participate in. I have no idea what is required, a few minutes of time or $, to get a ride listed so that could be a factor. Just a thought to get some more exposure.
