If I were to do it over, I would get Gansta Apes because I would like to try less pull back
This is my dilemma, it is hard to decide between the Flyn' Apes or the Gansta ones without sitting or seeing a bike that has each. Coin Flip?

I know this is an old thread but which ones did you go with?
Im thinking about these same pair of bars. While I like the gansters, Im not sure if I'd be comfortable with only 7 inches of pullback.

I went with the 14 in Flying Apes and love them, you can push them forward and still have pullback and clearance for the windshield or the fairing i am getting ready for this season.

i saw a road king with the 16" carlini 1.5" thick apes today, awesome looking! needed the thicker saddlebag guards to make it look better but not a must. they look better than the 1.25" thick bars. im 5'7" and they were too tall for me. i would have gone with 12" or 14". i dont like my hands being too high above my shoulders. but they looked like good quality bars

La Choppers makes a bag guard that is the same diameter as the engine guard. I bought a set, but haven't had time to put them on. My garage is a "wife's new hard wood floor center" right now, not a bike shop lol.

I have had both -- yes, coin flip! I don't see the pullback as an issue as you can roll the bars forward or back. I do like the 1.5", but I won't dump my current 1.25" for the 1.5". Ron 😎
