Well hopefully it's worth the wait!!!..by the way, did you get the reflectors??
I did get the reflectors earlier this week, thanks for that. With the magnets that solves my front and rear side inspection problems, now I just need to figure out the rear ward reflector, since I put a side mount plate on, Hawaii says it has to be centered, or equally spaced on either side...
about $250 range for good quality work. Vinyl leathers are less expensive and real leathers push cost up. main part of cost is re-foaming and re-shaping the seat. if you ever get down to West LA I found the absolute best place- http://www.newlifeupholsteryinc.com/ - Talk to Andre. Super nice guy, highly talented. A whole wall of material to choose from and books of other materials to order. Check them out on Yelp too their rep is solid.
Thanks for the information! That's only 40 miles from me.
I've been thinking of having my seat reworked a bit. Can I ask what I might expect to pay to have that done?
Yeah 2-2.5 for a rework with a new simple cover. Add 50-100 for a complete refoam or a complicated recover. And then if you choose exotic materials it's all on material costs

Oh and upholsterers generally don't rework seat pans, so if that's something you need or want, you'LL either have to do it yourself or take it to a fabricator
Picked up my seats tonight, I'll post pictures tomorrow in the daylight. My wife is ecstatic about her new creation/seat, and mine is pretty good, only had one short ride, but I think it may need a tweak or two....

So here's the pictures, haven't riden yet without the passenger pad, that's today. And haven't had my wife ride yet, just an initial sit from her. But she seems very happy and I think mine might need a tweak or two, we'll see...

Cool- I don't think you'll be disappointed at all in their workmanship or prices. Believe me I hate most all upholstery shops for seat work, a good one is so tough to find. If you go there ask for Andre (he runs the shop) and tell him Kurt referred you.
