Default Good Luck Charm & my Sister

First off let me make it clear that I don't believe in voodoo, witchcraft, Lucky rabbits feet or any of the like.............or do I?
My wife gave me a bell years back after I shared the legend of the gremlin bell with her. She knows I'm not into having Skulls, Demons and HD plastered all over my bike. She got me one with knights templar shields with crosses. She took up ridding and I gave her a bell with the 2 koi fish in the pisces symbol. She reads her horoscope from time to time and loves water, so what better?

I was adopted at birth and after 56 years my sister found me with DNA testing from a particular website that that lays out your family history and matches family members based on DNA evidence. She's been looking for me ever since she was small and understood I was given up. We met last weekend-She's beautiful, instantaneous sibling bonding, unexplainable. Protective brother was automatic-Before I met her husband I tossed around the idea that I may have to have "talk" with him. Nobody messes with my sister--NOBODY! Turns out he's a real sweet guy. The kind of guy you'd want as your brother in law, so far
The story is Crazy, cool, Awesome, its like the instantaneous love that occurs at the birth of your child-only different-I have 2 beautiful nieces as well, and she has 3 nieces also cousins etc. etc. Moving on. Hopefully I haven't gone to far off topic for the site moderators.
My sister wanted to give me a belated BD gift as she missed it by a few weeks. She knows I ride and she makes it very clear that she worries in a sisterly way.
Yesterday I received a St. Christopher necklace in the mail, heres the cool part it's a legit St. Christopher medal-but on the front of the medal St. Christopher is on a Harley. It's the sweetest gift I've ever received and means the world to me. It's around my neck for good now. Love my big sister(18mo's older than me).
If you don't know why people wear St. Christopher, google is your friend. Soldiers wear with dog tags-my dad had his St. Christopher medal with his dog tags while in combat. Some people have St. Christopher tattooed on their body.
Hopefully this is HD enough for the general Chat area, and we can share are experiences with good luck charms for riding.

Here mine. It was made in 1841 and there is a good chance it was carried through the US civil war in the pocket of a Union Soldier, and maybe more than one. I was using it the other day to fix a small electrical issue on my 'Glide. And I was thinking that the soldiers would be using it also for daily things, never being able to concieve of Electricity or motorcycles. Maybe in a couple of hundred years this will be the conversation. "Damn it Scotty, if you don't fix the Hyper Drive we are going to decend into that Black Hole" "Aye Captain, but we left the Hyper Drive tool on the last planet!" And Spock says " logically, your pocket knife will be able to do it". Scotty yells out "It worked perfectly Captain". And Uhura says "Where did you get that damn thing?" Scotty says "In a knife shop the last time we where on earth when I was riding my Motorcycle down the Oregon Coast". Which is exactly where I found it .....

Great sequence of events with a great conclusion, glad you found your sister. I wore my St. Michael's Medal every day I put on a uniform. It seems to have worked, I am still standing.

I always had an Italian last name, didn't think I looked I Italian-parents always told me I was English, Irish and Italian. I thought Italian was to make me fit in with rest of family.
That was my excuse for DNA test. To my surprise I'm English, Irish and Italian. My parents were honest.
I was kinda afraid of what I'd find besides my true nationality.
I got so much more out of the DNA testing-words can't describe. I'm truly blessed. My sister is the coolest chick I've ever met-----56 years man..CRAZY.
