Just got back from a 330 mile 2 lane ride. The first 1100 miles. No lowers. I'm at 1530 now. Had the bike 3 weeks. The wind management from adding the lowers made my day. Was 85 and so far I see no need to add the mid frame heat shields. Hate the Black Quartz don't show up in pics.

No pin striping. And that wind from below is about all gone. I don't have the deflectors on the crash bar either. I think if I add the one that mounts on the bottom of the triple tree I'll cure all that wind.
Funny. When I was younger the more wind the better. Now. Not so much.
Looks good man. I'll always say it, the new road glides just seem to look better with the lowers added. I put on some mutazu ones on mine the second week of ownership. Worth every penny and I ride in summer with it too. Definitely bearable I'm louisiana high humidity summers.
