Default Handlebar Dilemma

I am having a heck of a time locating a set of handlebars for my superglide that fit my vision. I am currently using the trask vbars, great bars but too wide for me.

What I would like is a set of 10" apes that would be about the width of a T-Bar.

I like everything about the T-Bars except they set the bars too far back for my liking.

Not sure what your target width is.. You like the width of the Trask V-line bar?

No they are too wide for my taste. The Trasks come in around 35". I'd really like something around 28-30".

Have you looked at the Biltwell Frisco, High Drag, or Window? They're all close in rise and width.

Was your issue with the T bars the pullback riser tubes? Would straight riser tubes help?

A t bar with a forward bend. Considering trying this one myself.

I haven't really looked too hard at the Bitwell stuff. Most of it is 1" and doesn't accept internal wiring, but I'll take a look at their selection.

With T-Bars everything is parallel with the front forks. Just one big straight line from the grips to the axle. I don't like the way it looks without a fairing.

I like when the upright tube of the handlebars is more vertical and at angle to the risers.

The one set of T-bar like bars that caught my eye is these.

I can't find a picture of them a bike without a fairing.

Needing the 1 1/4" bar really hurts your selection and 30" is pretty narrow for traditional apes.

Unless they're built strange, pretty much any bar can be wired internal. You just need to drill the holes.

You could always go custom... I've got trusted names if you're interested.

Something like an old school chopper jackrabbit style might get you there dimensionally, but the style and wrist angle may not work for you.

I don't own a set, but this dude will make you whatever you want.

Finding apes under 30" wide is going to be tough, if not impossible.

Like you, I originally didn't want T bars because of the lack of adjustability, but I have had mine on for nearly 7 months now, and I love them.

You could also go with a tall riser, and bar combo, which will give some forward adjustability.
