Default Primary still leaking

Changed it again, and it still leaks.
Anyone else have this problem?

Is that from the primary gasket, or is that leak coming from the inner primary seal and running down to the bottom of the primary?

I'm not sure, I guess it could be the inner primary gasket.

The thing leaked a little over the past several months, and the other day it was dropping a small puddle. So, I changed the primary gasket, and now it still leaks. Hard to tell where it's coming from.

Run your hand behind the inner primary...if there's oil, that's where it's coming from.

Judging from the wet on that frame tube it's inner primary seal or the tranny seal giving it up, not a gasket leaking bud.

Damn, that sounds like a lot of work. Will this require removing the engine and trans?

You won't have to remove anything from the frame. The primary will need to be completely disassembled and the loose rubber replaced. It'd be a good idea to check things over good too. A lot of the time a bad bearing is what causes a seal to leak.

I had my Indy replace my Shift Shaft seal. Was about $100 labor.
