I miss the food, but the weather out here is so much better. Riding easily all year on the coast here, I'm about to head to the Legion post in a few for our monthly riders meeting. So many chapters put it up for winter, we just put on a jacket.

I am not sure what the 2-2 numbers should look like, but I think that your tuner used STD as a correction factor over SAE because the numbers are so low. It is crazy to think that 10whp and 13ftlbs is lost from chosing a 2-2 instead of a 2-1. Fuel is solid and curves are clean so from first look it must be the case.

It isn't that crazy, from all that I have read, and the few dyno tuners within 500 miles that I have spoken to. The gains from the 2-1 are dyno proven time and again.

not sure. Bike runs great. Figured id put 5000 miles on it and maybe have it dynod again for the hell of it. To see if it can be dialed in a bit more. Ive had a 2-1 on my last 4 bikes just wanted something different may change it down the road at some point but idk

I am not surprised it runs awesome with the linear tq/hp curves along with locked in fuel. I knew that a 2-1 is better for power, but a 10 whp difference simply from exhaust selection is honestly shocking to me. Is this common with HD motors? Coming from newer sport bikes I am not use to seeing such a number difference based solely on exhaust selection.

not sure about the hp. 2-1 torque numbers will always be higher

I actually have the kit myself and would like to compare. The sheet is posted in the dyno room and my numbers were 119.8HP/128.6TQ with a 2 bros and a PV.

I didn't get the Dyno Sheet when I picked it up, nowhere to carry it, I'll pick it up when I go up and pick up all the parts I have ordered and post it then. I don't think the numbers are as good as lowboy72 though.

The scavenging of the 2-1 is what boosts the numbers, with 110 or 117ci out of only 2 cylinders with 2 valves per cylinder we need all the help we can get.

*** dyno will feel the difference, and the real dyno will verify. Also running a stepped pipe like the Bassani will help in many cases as it will keep the velocity up to maximize scavenging.

The scavenging also allows for a more precise, and more powerful, tune by providing a fresh and consistent charge with each combustion event as opposed to spent gasses remaining to varying degrees based on RPM and load.
