Just installed the new oil cooler cover, looks awesome but it fits a little loose. Haven't been on the road with it yet but I'm hoping it doesn't rattle. Just wanted to share in case anyone is looking at these. Looks great, fits a little loose.

looks good and the protection is a great idea, would have got one if it fit the fan assist cooler..loose doesn't sound good tho..
That's neat but it shouldn't be loose. Then again with 75% less vibration on an m8 I guess you get 75% less rattle. Also the mesh looks like a 75% reduction in air flow. Any increase in oil temp with the cover installed? The cover does look good, though.

4 screws on the bottom and just a tab up top that fits behind the regulator, that's where it's a little loose, the bottom is tight. I don't think it will be a problem but will keep an eye on it. The mesh is very open so I don't think there will be any reduced air flow at all, HD description says the same, no air flow restriction at all. Protection will be much better than the plastic junk that came on it which provided pretty much zero protection.
my M8 is in the shop getting some work done on it. while its there, I am having the chrome one put on my bike. I will take some photos of it when I get the bike back later in the week.
Got some miles in today, cover does not rattle or cause any problems that I can tell. I'm glad its a keeper because I think it looks awesome on the bike.
