Default The black out continues

Installed the HD Primary cover this evening. Been slowly chipping away at blacking it out.

I'm not getting rid of everything chrome, but still want to do the crash bars and the rear light bar.

Anyhow, here are a couple pics:

I seriously don't understand why there isn't a wrinkle black outer primary for Rushmore. I've got a RGS and am about to head down the same road but the gloss black "bugs" me.

Took some items to a local powder coater to match the fine texture finish that is found on engine case. It's a close match but not a perfect Harley match. So many types of blacks .

I powder coated my primary cover matte black to match my RGS. Looks pretty good and really flows with the bike. I know exactly what you mean about the gloss black which is why I knew from day 1 powder coating was the way to go
