Was in Key West a couple of weeks ago, great info from the guys on here. We,ate at Fogarty's on Duvall and it was great, good service, large portations, nice atmosphere.
I highly recommend El Siboney Restaurant off Duval at 900 Catherine. Best Cuban food I have ever had. Most of the best restaurants actually are not on Duval.
Well day one started off with a bang. A bang of lightning. We shagged early as the thunderstorms rolled in. So we hit the interstate to south of Asheville. I didn't want to spend several hours in a thunderstorm on back mountain roads. We got to Augusta Georgia and went downtown to eat at the whiskey bar and kitchen. We had some really good burgers. Ran over to the HD dealership for a chip. Talked to a couple real nice sales guys. We decided to stay here and the sales guy, Earnest, pointed us to a good place to stay. He said he was a former cop in town so we took his word. While sitting at the light to turn into the hotel. BAM. We got rear ended by a hit and run *** WIPE. I got his tag number and called the police.. It took them 25 minutes to show up. Next time I will tell them on 911 that I shot the scum. I bet that they get there a bit faster. We are fine. Tour Pak is scuffed pretty good and light bar is bent.
Pic from entering the gorge on I-40 from TN to NC.

That's unfortunate Cazador; glad to learn that y'all were not injured and the bike was only cosmetically damaged. I hope this is the only SNAFU for your adventure.
