With an HD, I'm old school. I see the designs of Tom Fugle, Cliff Vaughs, Indian Larry, and the artwork of David Mann. That's what an HD really looks like to me; it's low and long and loud and has all of her lines in place. Nothing else need apply
The Wide Glide was the homage to the builders of those old school chops; and, the best thing Willie G ever designed. If HD didn't build the Wide Glide I'd have built it myself. The Wide Glide is the final holdout, the lone rebel, the last of the runaways now. She's changed over the years with EFI and the lack of a traditional rear fender, but that heart of a runaway and a rebel pushing back against the norms is still there
I sold my '10 wide glide prior to a 2 yr deployment in '13 she was going to sit in a carport 2 blocks from the ocean and I figured it would be best to let someone else enjoy it so I got rid of her. Stumbled upon this '14 with 53 miles on it, Carlini apes, HD rims, V&H intake and exhaust (plus tune), Le Pera seat, HD aftermarket pegs grips & mirrors. $10k asking $10.6k OTD. I couldn't NOT pick it up! I take delivery on Monday, can't wait!
