Need some help. I want to put the Street Cannon slip-ons with a K&N filter in the stock breather box. Will I be ok without the $299 tuner? Seems like I should, but all the techs tell me to get the tuner. Hep me Wanda!!

You should, but can you ride it without? Yeah, but it will be leaner somewhat and you are not taking advantage of the increased airflow.
Why do you want to add the K&N filter? Is it for performance or ease of maint? If you say performance, then it is a no brainer, to take advantage of "more performance", you need to adjust the tune.

A tuner and also free-flow head pipes.
Harley is forced to send these bikes out running lean to begin with, so if you are going to go with aftermarket parts that increase airflow you really should include a tuner.
Increased airflow air cleaner, free-flow head pipes, slip-ons and tuner = Stage 1 with a few more HP.

Yep, performance and I get to keep the stock air box, which I like. It's a money thing with me, maybe I can do it in phases; slip-ons and filter, then tuner, then header. Thanks for the input all!!
Did you use the Road Glide bars, or did they make these special order?
They are sort of a hybrid... They don't have the cut-outs of the Road Glide bars, but they do have the front exit for the wires. I worked with April (I think that was her name) and she got it right. I was the first with this model, but I am sure they will know what you are after.
Is there a Re-location bracket in black for the Turn Signals ?
I would like to relocate my turn signals from my bars to the Forks ..
Also in doing this can a windshield still be mounted?
Windshield is not to much of a concern as I haven't used one yet..
However it would be nice to retain the option
I couldn't find a part number for turn signal fork re-lo so if anyone could help out that would be awesome.
Gonna add some 12" Apes to the King and think the Bars look much cleaner without the turn signals attached.
Look for it under the Street Glide options... I went to a shop here and they had a RKS set up with the black signal relocation kit which looked sweet. It also will cover the windshield bracket.

Got a new Sissy Bar last week from The Forge LLC and love it! They carry all service emblems just in case anyone is military/ex-military (vet-owned company) plus a few other inset options.
This is an 18" and was perfect with the flow and height of my bars.
Thanks for the reply, sissy bar looks sweet, I ended up ordering some 12" Vindikta devil dogs, I'll be putting them on while my seat is getting lower in a couple weeks.
