anyone with an '06-08 street glide wanna take a picture?
looking for a picture of the base of the antenna, how it mounts, the bracket and where it's located.
I've pulled the tourpack off my ultra and bought a shorty antenna, wondering how the streetglide mounts their antenna. It's easier to copy someone elses design than reinvent the wheel
They're probably the same '09-present, but thought I'd start with the same frames
That's the ticket... I'm going to bend up some metal and make my own (save the $50-60 bucks for the HD bag). I think I'll be able to put this together for $5 in radio shack parts
I took a piece of flat stock and put a 90 degree twist in it. Drilled holes, polished, added a 10 dollar auto bone antennae. Mounted with rear saddlebag mount.
Turned out good for the 12 dollar investment.
The only thing you'd see is someone that bought an FLHT that tried making it look like an FLHX by converting it. I've seen many of those after the streetglides came out.
