So far it hasnt. Been like that for about 7 months now and a couple of oil changes. But I do keep a close eye on my fluid levels and dont overfill. I have seen a tiny bit on the exhaust blown from the wind but the filter takes care of it mostly.
I'm using a dual inlet filter under the A/C; I have a second dual inlet always clean and ready to put on, I find they will become slowly oil saturated and don't work as effectively so when they begin to discolor I put on the clean filter.
I clean the breather filters with K&N air filter spray cleaner then rinse them in hot water and let them dry. Never any oil on the bike or exhaust that way. Remove your breather filter and give it a good bath and you'll be good to go for a while
Here's a picture of the backing plate with one of the breather bolt plugs removed. Looks like a matter of getting some 5/16" (or 9mm?) ID hose to fit over the breather bolts, driil 2 holes in the backing plate to route the hoses out to a small crankcase filter. What type of hose do you guys use? And which crankcase filter? Thanks!
I used 1/4" (6.35mm) fuel hose and just a cheap filter I found on Amazon that would fit with the connectors I used.
I like this filter. Uni Up-122. Its small and has the zip tie loop so you can hide it anywhere easily. You could hide it right between the heads somewhere.
[QUOTE=esteboatan;16312914]I got my ideas from the thread linked to a few posts up. I made my own set up with a few connectors, tubing and a filter. It was very easy to do.[/QUOTE
So the 1/4" ID fuel line is just "pushed on" to the breather bolts, and it stays on OK?

I use small red connectors that clamp onto the tube and the socket thingy. It stays tight. Needle nose pliers are required to clamp it into the space.

I use folded tubing (3/8" OD) and zip tie the ends after its bent, its a nice tight fit. No air is getting in through the holes.
