Default Anyone know of a high back rest for a '17 SGS?

Looking for something to fit in quick release brackets that would be near same height on the passengers back as a tour pack on a ultra classic. Dealer said one we have is tallest they have and with the hammock seat it only gets to the passenger waist area. Not sure if anything is out there so thought we would ask. TIA

Wait, wait wait - what do you have now? Which sissy bar upright, and which pad?

Check out the Tourrest backrest. Bought one for the wife this spring and she loves it. Wraps around as well as being taller. Check out the you tube videos. It has two mounting positions for height adjustment. Fits the stock Harley sissy bar. I have an Electra Glide Standard, so no tour pak. Was looking for the same thing you are. This fits the bill. not too pricey, about $199.

FromBehind-don't have a sissy bar just what I was told was the higher of two quick release passenger back rests for a 17 SGS.

You're going to want to Standard Sissy Bar upright (12") and the Oversized backrest pad. It provides a pretty good amount of back support.

From Behind haven't done anything yet so your suggestion is much appreciated as it may be the answer also. Does the 12" upright sissy at load into the quick release setup?

It does - it snaps right in.
