My last bike was a Suzuki Hayabusa and got my first Harley FXDLS. It's tons of fun, and fast enough for what I want for now...lol

I'm 6'1 with my riding boots on and running the forward MID controls that came on the bike feels great. I do scrap the pegs a bunch tho...

I second this statement. No harm in having two bikes.

I did a trade in on mine as the dealership had seen the bike in Magazines here and obviously thought they could sell it for a good price. The price they gave me is what I was after in a private sale so was a no brainer.

I missed the sporty for about a total of 15 seconds after cracking the throttle on that 110ci engine. Half the fun of a new bike is starting the modification journey all over again.

I don't ride highways much, but it's so much better at 100kph and up. (60mph) you could put cruise control on and take your hands off the bars if you were stupid enough and the bike will just track like an arrow.

I'm impressed with the brakes and suspension for a stock bike, There is no reason to change that straight away in my opinion. 13 inch rear shocks would have been nice, the front can dive under hard breaking too.

Seat/Bars/Pegs is such an individual thing, get the ergonomics right and it will make the ride much more enjoyable.

A simple exhaust and a good tune will have you smiling for a while. I am starting to look into upping the compression and going to a higher RPM based cam as the 255 cam whilst having great low down torque does fall on it's face rather quickly, doesn't suit the ethos of the LRS as a sports orientated Harley.

I don't think you will regret getting one. You only live once
What do you mean the "cams fall on their face"? Also thanks for the insight, my brain is like melting from the back and forth thinking

Tuned for low end, typical for a Big Twin. The stock cams don't breathe well at high higher RPM. 5500 redline is typical with the torque falling off well below that. Quite a different character than your 883. If you like to twist the hell out of your engines, a Big Twin will need some serious work to breathe and hold together at 6500+

Yep as above, You are making markedly less power at 6000rpm than say 5000rpm, so it's shift up another gear or replace the mechanicals to suit your riding style.

My sporty made peak power at 7000rpm! Coming across to a big twin took an adjustment as to when to shift gears. Torque is more fun I'm finding

I hate the bobbed rear fender, the side mounted license plate (do people REALLY like those?), and those awful "gold" wheels. Give me that 110 in a regular Low Rider please.
You could always go to the Duc shop and pick up a better shade of gold:
