There does seem to be quit a difference in the Fuel Moto and Fullsac pipe, is it $200 difference, I cant answer that but the Fullsac looks much more robust and put together.
While I can only speak for our own products our M8 Jackpot pipe was developed on the dyno and is the culmination of over a half dozen prototypes with various collector & primary designs on several different M8 engine displacements & power outputs. Its been proven in many applications on dyno's across the country. The Jackpot pipe is constructed from .069 304 stainless, it has CNC mandrel bends, it features dual 12mm & 18mm O2 bungs (machined from billet), and it is fully tig welded. I have a question, how can an engine be quieter? Especially when, as far as I know, there is more flow through the valves then the TC. I've heard people say that a full system isn't very loud on the M8, but I have yet to tell in person. Is it maybe because the engine is running too lean?
From my understanding, a bigger engine with the same AFR should be louder as it's making bigger explosions. Therefore this 107 with the same pipe as my TC88, running a tune that keeps the AFR identical at all RPMs, should be louder.
Personally, I think this headpipe is very choked up and slipons aren't able to do what they used to, and most people have only heard slipons so far. I know I've only heard my own so far, and never heard a well tuned, full system M8 in person. Just my thoughts
I can vouch for the FM header. When I put it on, it was noticeably louder - not obnoxious, but definitely more volume. At the time I had SE Cannon slip-on's, and once I did the header, I did not like the sound of the Cannon's. I then went to the new Rinehart 4.5's, and in my opinion, hit gold. But I can't say enough good things about the FM header. The heat displacement alone is worth the price of the pipes.
Jackpot High Rollers and fuelmoto headpipe here. High quality stuff with no fit issues. Started with just the High Rollers and when I added the headpipe it got a little louder, a nicer tone and noticeably more rumble on decel. Me like.
Has anybody gone to the Jackpot Headpipe on their M8? If so, did you get a noticeable increase in volume from your exhaust? I know the design of this motor means it is quieter, and I'm happy with the sound of my V&H HO 450's, but the bike is still pretty quiet compared to what my TC was. I love the bike, but wish it was a little (or maybe a lot) louder. I am also looking at the the Samson SVT Bonecrushers, which is a full system.

I put the jackpot headpipe on my CVO along with Rinehart slipons and Harley torque cam. The headpipe definitely added more bark sound, but doesn't give me a headache on long ride - perfect sound level for me. Greatly reduced engine heat on right leg as well.
Thanks everybody for the replies. I think I already knew the answer, which has pretty much been validated here. A Jackpot headpipe is in my future. One other thing I like about the Jackpot is that it uses the OEM heat shields.

Not knocking or endorsing anyone's pipe but the Fullsac uses stock heat shields also and has a full size crossover where the fuel moto uses the stock squished crossover. Im sure the FM is a quality piece but it is essentially a decatted stock head pipe. I'm looking at these two and Vance and Hines power dual, decisions....decisions.

**corrected post, after verification of the crossover just like Quik states its squished (damn that lady at the stealership parts counter for bad information and me for not checking!)
Had S&S Mk45s with the factory cat header for the first 500 miles. very quiet at idle decent "tight" exhaust note when on the throttle. Added the Jackpot 2/1/2 principally to recuse heat, header alone gained about a 2hp on the redyno, deeper tone on hard throttle and allowed the idle exhaust note to be a bit more audible without barking.
I personally would like a little more sound around town in the traffic, but honestly for long distance rides, its a nice combo.

Factory M8 exhaust shouldn't have a squished crossover pipe. At least my 17 RGS didn't.

Not sure why a RGS would be different than a SGS but my 17 SGS has a stock crossover thats flat as a pancake!
