Looking for recommendations on a Stage 1 setup -16' FXDL

When looking at you new LR I notice it has both an open air cleaner and the Screamin' Eagle Nightstick slip on. I have the same slip on mounted on my LR. It was way too quiet with the closed end cap and disk stack. I went to the open end cap and 5 disks. Not obnoxious loud nor quiet. To my ears it's a nice happy medium. Since you have most of a stage 1 done I would also recommend contacting FuelMoto for a Power Commander V with their pre-loaded tunes. That's exactly what I am running and love it.
In advance I'd like to apologize for my ignorance on this subject! I knew about my slip on, but really wanted a full exhaust system for the power and sound. I removed the cap and disks, any suggestions on where to get the open end cap? What I didnt realize is that the 16' LR has an open air cleaner already, is there any difference with the after-market kits and the backing plate on the stocker? I appreciate all the help guys, and again forgive my lack of info on the topic.
For the record, the HO intake is still very restrictive, even with a K&N. I replaced mine and noticed a huge difference.
I went with an Arlen Ness intake, "outlawed" my head pipe, firebrand slip on, PCV w/ Fuelmoto map. The bike runs and sounds awesome without being too obnoxious. Just swapping from the 103HO intake w/ K&N to the Arlen Ness intake made a noticeable difference.
I just off the phone with the people at Fuel Moto, let me begin by saying WOW! I am super impressed by how professional and knowledgeable they are. I got an awesome deal on my stage 1 kit, which includes:
Dyno Jet Power Vision Tuner $399
Fuel Moto Ac/Dc Air Cleaner Stage 1 Kit - $99 (when purchased with the Power Vision)
Bassani Road Rage 2 into 1 - Black/Short/Upswept $574
Then they took off $54 for the "powerpackage" coupon. I'd like to thank everyone for their input and info. The only downside, I can throw this stuff on for a few more weeks!
