LED brake light issue when in gear
Cycle visions told me that I should bring my bike to the dealer because there's something wrong with my bike. Pretty crappy way of dealing with the situation.
As for the red key, it went away when I installed the yellow load eq as well. They say that's for bikes with alarms but my bike does not have an alarm.

I don't know enough about the fat bob stock system but on my FXDB I had to remove the STT module (stop/tail/turn). This was because factory tail/brake/turn signal lights were all the same. The CV unit changes that as its got separate sets of LEDs for each.
That said...Does your bike have this and if so did you remove it?
Interesting. How does this part get removed? Does it need to be replaced with something?
i took a look and don't see that I have that part.

That is shitty customer service, good to know not to buy from them.
I will be tackling led in my near future, just deciding on which set up to go with. I'm fairly good with electrical stuff as my present job is building high powered led grow lights for the grow houses out here in Colorado, hopefully some of that knowledge will come in handy

Tail -> module -> bike
The ends are all male to female so all I needed to do was plug the tail directly into the bike. This was on a street bob though, might be different than fat bob. I can probably find the module and snap a pic if you think it would help.
Mine was plugged in line between the tail light and the bike. So it was like:

Took unit off my bike and installed it on my wife's 2012. It works as designed. Just have to figure out why her fault light is on and the ts indicators hyperflashing. May need to reset the canbus but not sure if the load eq should be installed or not.
