WOW! You are fortunate. That could have gotten very gnarly.

Hasn't been an issue for me. I ride up to about 95 deg on occasion, not often.

New axle nut and c clip are in place; now to get back to riding!

Today, made a kickstand shoe and extension so it can be reached around rear-sets, installed velocity stack. Yesterday, wet sanded fenders and seat base I painted a few weeks ago and changed the pin stripe color.

Installed sprocket cover and changed some gaskets.

Up next : brakes, headlight and wheels.
