Try chroming the cover section under the bottom triple then you'll know whether to go on with it.

I'm not a chrome guy Nutt but please do not stop now , it's growing on me or is it a fungus(JK) seriously follow it through !.
This M8 cruiser line has me liking things I used to bag out the boys for having a life time ago,these bikes they have a presence .

Another option is to gloss black the nacelle and upper legs, you would then have the chrome on the headlight trim and lower legs popping out more.

Ive thought of doing this, but leaving the stock brushed chrome legs.

I like the stock look on forks better than the chromed.

Your build is the first 2018 Softail that has make me go "Damn...I want one of those"

HD should be giving you the parts for free

If you want the wiring diagram (all softails are basically the same), you can find it on the HD website. A full wiring diagram / parts book is available on line.

IT'S STILL HERE!
Got evacuated yesterday because of fires going on out here in California. Left a 2017 Corvette Z06 and both my bikes in the garage. When the cops say LEAVE NOW, you don't even think about those sort of things. Grabbed my woman, dog and jumped in the only vehicle I don't hold title to because it was heading in the direction we were going, my girl friends Equinox and left. Came back today and everything is fine. A lot of my family and friends were not so lucky :-(
I learned a hard lesson yesterday, those things really don't mean ****.
Enjoy what you have, man, it could be gone in a matter of moments....
