I'm trying to attach a sound clip of these Street Cannons without any luck. I'll google it to see if that gives me any help.

I was pretty disappointed at first but after I let the bike warm up and really give the throttle a twist, they definitely had a fairly good bark, much better then stock. I'll know more once i get the bike off the lift and take it for a ride, should be soon.

Till then I'll try to post that sound clip. They look good however, I didn't want to lose the stock heat shields so that worked great, i really like the new brushed finish on this new bike..

Thanks again, ride safe, Rich

I thought I'd share a few more photo's. I just finished installing HD Siren to go with their security system, honestly, should I still be surprised Harley uses this item to get an additional hundred bucks out of us? Especially on this bike because installing it on the new Softails is a lot more work then other model's I've installed one on. As far as installation, you need to remove right side cover, right side battery caddy, remove battery and then the battery tray to assess the BTM to install the siren. Some are wondering how difficult to remove the battery, not difficult at all once you clear the right side it slides right out. I did notice the need for after market exhaust company's to take into consideration the battery removal when designing their systems, I see a possible conflict here if they don't. I gathered the information off the bike with my Power Vision and sent it to FuelMoto for a license and hopefully in a week or so, a stage 1 map.
Ride safe all, but go ride, weathers turning soon, not that I have to worry about that, I do have compassion for those less fortunate however....Burrrrrr

Battery Compartment..

Sweet, today I ordered a RB Racing LSR 2-1 exhaust. I ordered a slash cut, 45deg turn out w/2" head pipes. I ordered it with a chrome pipe and the heat shields they are going to try and match as closely the new brushed satin finish as on the new Fat Boy. To anyone not familiar with RB Racing, I believe their 2-1 LSR systems are second to none, just my opinion. I installed one on my '07 FLHRS and loved it. I'll share a picture of that bike..
I should hear about lead time shortly, one thing however, they as with a lot of other manufacture will not ship to California, so it will be delivered to my daughter in Oregon, good reason for a road trip.

Well, I thought I'd continue sharing my progress and show a few interesting things.
I'm installing a set of chrome lower legs, due here on Friday, so I disassembled everything today, straight forward but I wanted to point out the threaded left lower leg. No more nut, but a nice clean (hollow and light) axle and it makes for a clean set up. I ordered a set of Harley's Chrome lower legs so I know there will not be a problem with chrome being where it shouldn't but with these threads in one of the legs, I can see this being a problem with less experienced chrome plater. Anyway, it's keeping me bizzy in the shop, having fun. Take care all..

I can tell you have some experience at making bike your own. I'm sure you heard the story about the old bull and the young bull looking down on the herd of cattle. Your build remind me of that. Taking your time and doing it all. Thanks for sharing it with us. It's not just your build that is an inspiration. Great news on the medical front as well.

I'm hoping I can add my heater gear connector to the battery without having to take it out. It doesn't sound like fun.

For sound clips I had to add them to my YouTube account and then insert a link back the to file on YouTube. Only thing I use YouTube for. If you don't have or don't want a YouTube account. I could put it out there with your name attached under the account I use and you could link to it from there. I'd be happy to help out in anyway I can just PM me.

That thing is SICK!!! Would love to install both front and back fenders on mine. So where can you purchase these parts here in the States?

That is one bad azz looking Fat Boy, best I've ever seen. Unfortunately, most of us garage enthusiast do not have the experience and or equipment to put out a project like that. And as nice as these products are, and I have no doubt, it seems availability usually seems to be an issue with these type of high end parts. Now I could be completely wrong but also, before I retired, I could afford parts like these, but today, they cross the financial line for me, bummer lol. Thanks for sharing but before I go, I'd like to throw a shout out to the hundreds of fellow garage mechanics putting out some damn fine bikes with limited budgets, knowledge and experience, wrench on my fellow brothers! (from everywhere!)

Chrome is not bad for Harley. No chrome where it isn't suppose to be, that's good..
Wife's out picking up fork oil, nice project tonight putting it back together. Should look good...
