there was a little oil in with the advance wieghts, so i assume the seal needs replaced
there was no washer inbetween the breather gear and gear cover, you can see the mark on the cover. the breather gear was tough to pull out. tiny metal slivers were on the breather gear
the 2 spacers washers were behind the cam, to me all the bushings and needing bearing seem ok
the cam is marked andrews b or maybe andrews 8, it is hard to read
the tappets are solid one piece, rollers seem ok, they all slide free except the rear cylincer inside one is stuck, I had to push on it pretty hard to get it to slide
the tappets do not drop out the bottom except the rear cylinder outside
it and you took a picture but I cant see - it might not have valve seals - BUT its leaking past the valve guides ether way so the piston is clean from the abundance of oil wash
I am answering with out reading back into you post did I miss something

what doyouthink about the pictures of the tappets/pushrod combo and inside the cam chest?
cant tell from the picture but it appears they took the rockers to a grinder not the correct type a bench type - the push rod end has a double wear spot that only happens when the radius is off its angle from grinding it incorrectly
see this sort of stupid stuff a lot - you need a real shop to help you not a boutique
