Hello, a buddy of mine bought a DS18 Candy Micro2 for his 16 Street Glide. The seller told him it was plug and play. The only wiring the amp came with is a connector, one end plugs into the amp and the other end is loose wires.
I really do not want to cut any factory wires if I can get around it.
Go to Biketronics - get a BT355 line leveler with the speaker connector to make plug & play, then wire the power to the amp from the battery using the correct wire gauge & fuse
Would be able to help more if we knew what else he is running with it.
At the risk of being that guy, I hope it's some cheap entry level 2 ohm speakers he's using. That thing doesn't have enough intestinal fortitude to push squat.

Haha, they are some (cheaper) speakers he got with the kit.
I just finished my first stereo install and I don’t cut a single factory wire. Only wire I actually touched was using a T-tap on the cigarette lighter wire for my remote wire. BT355 Line leveler and RCA cables.
