riding in salt

I was doing some chimney work years ago, and all day I hear a Harley riding around the neighborhood. I never saw the bike , but I could hear it. Then later in the day ( it was early spring ) it comes around again and I hear a ruckus, and I hear the rider yelling, I cant believe I did that, Im so stupid. Then I hear a female voice say, what happened are you o.k. The guy yells get the fk away from me.he must of hit some sand coming into his driveway and failed to come in standing up. I never saw him but I felt for him. I remember thinking, I wish I was out riding instead of playing with bricks!!

heavy rain today , the roads will be nice and clean and upper 40s to low 50s this weekend.. be glad you waited a week..

I'm on Long Island...it was 50 degrees and I took it out both Saturday and Sunday. The roads are completely dry and only a dusting of salt here and there. It was a welcome relief to get her out!!
And I love to clean it so this week in the evenings I'll break out all my cleaners and give it a good once over. It's worth it. Besides the roads won't really be clear of all the salt until April and they've cleaned them. I couldn't possibly wait that long.
I didn't see....so did you ride Mchad?

Stopped by a marine store and picked up two bottles of salt remover which I proceeded to use one whole bottle of during another 2 hrs while I washed the hell out of her when I got back That, 7 gallons of water and some aviation spray wash/wax and Im able to sleep comfortably without worrying. So 5 hrs with my bike was a good day.
