The newer bikes dont need the drip pad underneath
Ha very true.... That was there actually for my son's bike when he still lived at home. Thats been 3 years ago. And I have just kinda left it there. Gives me "the spot" to park. Kinda like the tennis ball hanging from the ceiling. Good eye.
Man you guys with those big garages are nice. Only OLD money can buy that. New money cant. Mad respect for those that do what they can
Some "sweet" garages/shops/man caves... in this post.
I can't complain about mine, even though I would do a few things different if I had to do it over.
But compared to the folks without one I am happy as a pig in $hit.
Here's my shop. 24x24 heated and insulated. It's set up so that I can move the bikes and lift in front of the bar and still pull a truck in to work on it since our attached garage isn't heated.
I wish it was about 10 feet deeper and 10 feet wider but overall I'm pretty happy with it.

I can't speak for others but mine sure as hell isn't from old money. Mine and my wife's is from 30 years of hard work wrenching and being frugal paying off a first home and then upgrading to our dream home. All the time working 8-10 hours a day at wrenching at my full-time job followed by 4-8 hours of wrenching on other people's stuff at my home shop.
I'm finally at a point in my life where I can work on my own stuff without having to work on everyone else's ****.
