Default Wheel/tire swap

I have a 2012 Ultra Classic and I'm looking at buying a set of 19 front and 17 rear wheels and tires off a 2016 CVO. Will they fit and will I see/feel any difference? Will stock fenders work? Any help appreciated.

what rear wheel are you planning on using? the limited cvo has a 16'' rear wheel, while the road glide and the street glide have 18'' wheels?

but, yes, they will fit. you may or may not have to do a bearing change. you can check this site: https://shop.outpostalaska.com/OEMpartfinder.htm# to see what bearings you have and what bearings come with the cvo (buying them used you may want to do a bearing swap with new bearings anyway).

you will see a difference, they look better (imo), you will feel a little more of the road due to the lower profile of the tires. and yes, the stock fenders will fit fine.

the front tire will have virtually the same overall diameter, within a couple hundredths of an inch. the rear will raise up by 3/8'' or so.

I just put a set on my bike. Not sure where the 17" comes from. I also thought it was either 16" or 18". If the set he's getting has a 19" front. I'd assume they're off a SG. Was there a CVO RG in 16? I know the 15s were ultra only. So 16" wheels. And there was no RG CVO in 16.

But like was said. Yes. You'll notice an immediate difference. They look 100 times better than stock. And the amount the rear come up is negligible. I think I need to drop my rear a half inch. But when upright it looks perfectly level. My front is dropped an inch.

2016 had a cvo roadglide ultra with 17'' front, and 16'' rear.

I went with 18" front and rear on my 2010 Road King Classic and am very happy with my decision. The 19" front was just a tad short on the sidewall for me, but clearly it's the direction Harley is going. Ride quality felt about the same going from 16/16 to 18/18, but of course with new tires replacing my 7 year old stockers handling was sharper. I'm willing to bet that the 18" billets have a lot less flex than stock spokes too.

The rear does sit a little higher with the 180/55/18 rear but it's not a problem or even noticeable for me @ 6ft even.

If your bike has ABS they will bolt right on, if not you will need to swap out one of the bearings on each wheel. I would recommend new bearings anyways. Also the front brake rotors are different and mount differently on the CVO wheels so you will need them as well.
