New to the forum and just recently bought a 2017 Street Glide Special a few months ago. I put an Arlen Ness Monster Sucker and installed it about 2 months ago. I'v ridden about 800 miles with it on. Today I noticed a creamy oil type substance coming out of one of the mounting bolts. Just curious if this is normal or there is something jacked up. Any advice would be appreciated!
i would suspect a bad o-ring seal or loose fastener. but the engine breathes through the heads and you will have vapors consisting of water and some oil so yep, normal for that, just not hidden very well.
Yes it sounds like a bad o-ring seal. Oil should nut be coming from that area, bolt at all. Yes the heads breathe through that bolt and drip into the Air filter.
Generally every 2500 miles you might see a drip coming from the back side of the filter but not from that bolt.
