Default primed

Sprayed some primer on the tank and cut down front fender. Tomorrow I'll get some filler on them to smooth everything out and then move on to the wiring.
I'm glad I went for a 3.50-19 on the front. It is taller than stock and will fit up under the fender real nice. The 4.00-19 was too tall for the fender. Nice old school tracker looking tire.
Smooth but not smooth enough.

Default Headlight/Signals

Got the single solution headlight signal combo installed. Used solder and heat shrink to avoid future problems.

Now I need to figure out how to take apart Deutsch connectors to get the rear done.

Default Deutsch Connectors

Well it turns Deutsch connectors are easy to work with.

Now I need to figure out if the red or the yellow wire on the tail light is the brake.

Can i ask, where did you get this headlight? I think it looks awesome and would love to do the same thing. I've got integrated turns on my tail light so this would go really well with that.

You are welcome Dudepants.

So I got the body work done and the final coat of primer on and am ready to do a wet 400 sand before moving on to color.

Weather was perfect today hope it holds for tomorrow.

Default First coats of base color

I finally got the S&S Super E installed. What I learned from this is just buy a new carb if you want an S&S. I bought used. It was in great shape but caused me nothing but grief.
The seller told me that it came off of a sportster... not true. It came with the wrong intake, jets, insulator block and was missing various other washers and shims. Lesson learned.

The paint is coming along as well.

Does anyone know a good place to get descent Harley vinyl decals. I don't want to commit to any thing in the paint or under the clear coat.

I am thinking about going with a gloss black modern bar and shield. The new one with out any lettering.

Like this.
