I have a 2016 FXDLS with a TBR exhaust and a power vision tuner.
I am getting the Fueling 574 cams, adjustable pushrods, and new lifters Professionally installed on my bike with a dyno tune.
My question is if the stock air cleaner/throttle body is truly a high flow or if I should upgrade now since Im getting the dyno tune?
Someone recommended upgrading to a 58mm TB. trying to make sure I dont already have that since H.D. did make a lot of noise about the FXDLS having the performance parts already on there.
If it ISNT a 58mm, is it possible to have it bored out to 58mm?

The stock ac will work. I didnt like the looks so I switched mine. Stock TB is 50mm. I dont think youll find anyone who is boring them out. You can get a SE 58mm from HD.
I went with the 58mm tb from Horsepower Inc along with their pipe and they will be doing my dyno tuning. I went with a Bare Knuckle Choppers Big Boy ac that is made to blend into the 58mm bore.

So should we assume it a 103..., or just guess
Stock intake fine for a basically stock 103 (even after above upgrades)
You're not enlarging the valves - just extending the duration a bit - no additional intake flow needed
eta - and if by an outside chance it does become starved - tuner will pick up on that real quick

FXDLS. So it has at least the SE 110 motor. Not sure if he has a 117 kit or other mods. More flow wont hurt and will be a huge help if he goes bigger later
If he has the 117, theres a good chance he got the included 58mm assuming its a se kit. If its the 110, then you dont have the 58mm. I personally dont think its worth it for the cost/benefit unless you do a 117 kit that has it included or find one for sale cheap
Just for comparison purposes, the 58MM will flow 34.5% more than the 50mm. Everything else being equal.
no argument over flow, with your knowledge on airflow and head upgrades and everything im by no means challenging you to a debate, however in my opinion, the cost of a new 58 mm (and one should upgrade to 5.3/6.0 injectors to go with it) is hard to justify since the 34% wont equate to a 34% in power gains. Just my opinion....but I do have the 58 mm since it came with my 117 lol
