I think the problem would be trying to stuff the new wheel and tire in the old fender, pretty sure it wouldn't fit in the fender or between the frame rails.
That I'm not too sure on but it would be cool to have the newer wider wheel on a bike with a decent engine.
Damn, one thing always leads to another. I would like to stay away from changing the master cylinder and switches and all that. Wiring is not my strong point, in fact I down right suck at it. Not sure what it is about it but it just doesn't click in my head.
So if I went with the brembo calipers I could use the old stock master still, correct? Just won't have abs without the newer master cylinder I'm guessing?
I will get the axle for sure once I get the new fork sliders.

Yeah I'm still kicking, between restoring my house, work, family life and everything else just takes a ton of time and a ton of money. Got over $10k in this thing and still have to pull the motor 🙃 All good though, I'll have a one of a kind bike and it will be brand new 👍
