Default Loctited derby cover torx screw

Hi,
I have 2013 RK Police. Somebody before me used red loctite on derby. I can't get the cover off. I used the dryer, it did not help.

Providing the screw heads aren't destroyed, an impact screwdriver might loosen them. If the heads are destroyed then you'll have to drill the heads off. That leaves the problem of getting the stubs out. Red Loctite??? WTF!

Possibly remove the outer primary, lay it flat (protect the gasket surface), apply extreme heat to the screw head and impact them out. The hazard is possibly marring the chrome finish. If u drill the heads off, you'll have less 'material' to apply torque to - generally they spin out with pliers - but the red Loctite is a vicious twist.

Try the impact driver with something that will get the bolt hotter than a hairdryer...propane torch maybe?

well dude, panties in a bunch fer sure!
i believe the stuff has a working temp of around 400*f so you would need localized heat of around 550*f.
go to weld shop and get some heat dam putty and pack off the case and then heat the heads till dull red and the see if they come out using hand torque, impact might round them out.
