Default Maction lowers

Hey guys,
I'm looking at some lower options. I've looked at Advanblack ones and came across this website selling lowers called Mactions. Anyone familiar with this company or have purchased a set? It's like half the price of the Advanblack and has vents. Wondering about material and paint quality. Here's a link to the website. Thanks!

I’m not an expert, but that looks EXACTLY like the OEM HD lowers. I can’t see any difference to the new style lowers at all

The list of mods on your bike shows you've been getting decent products from reputable companies. I would stick with OEM or Hogworks/Advanblack. There are a lot of websites shipping cheap products from Chinese factories, buyer beware.

It got to the point that every other post on Facebook was Maction. I got sick of seeing it and blocked them.
With the cut rate pricing I also figured it was probably too good to be true, i.e. low quality products. I don't know this for sure. It was just my gut feeling.

The picture looks like OEM lowers, including required engine guards changes, if I'm not mistaken Advanblack doesn't need engine guard repacement.

Yes. I believe the same. I typically always buy Harley genuine parts with stuff like this, but they've gotten soooo expensive. For lowers, 6.5" pods, and the driving light setup, they quoted me over $2k! I remember when I did lowers on my 15 back in the day, they were like $600 with pods. No lights. I understand it's 10 years later, but that's some serious increase in price. I'm looking at the Advanblack and still considering biting the bullet on the OEM. I feel the Harley stuff holds up so much better with parts like this that are so exposed while riding. Almost double the Advanblack is tough to swallow lol. Crazy...

Prices have become beyond ridiculous but I still succumb to the desire to modify as I please. I looked at the Advanblack lowers alongside the OEM ones. The Advanblack paint matched and installed were about $1.3k installed. The OEM ones installed, with fog lights was about $2.1K. They would have been $1.8k installed without. So yes the HD parts were $500-$800 more all in, but come with no vents and aren’t as substantial as OEM. If Advan had been what I think they are worth, around $$500, I likely would have gone that route, although I’m sure I would have missed the vents. And the OEM lowers really grew on me as I was shopping. They are consistent with the new lines of this generation while the Advan felt a little too much like the prior gen ones to me.
The ones you are asking about are getting good reviews and I’m pretty sure they are close to, if not identical to OEM for less. Are you needing to paint match? If so the price difference will decrease. For me it just made more sense to go OEM for something this significant. And I’m one who doesn’t shy away from after market. I have an excellent Advanblack paint matched tour pack.

Interesting side note. Last weekend, I took the lowers off my 25 Ultra and reinstalled them yesterday. The engine temp was about 15deg hotter WITHOUT them. I was surprised. I know, this wasn’t a controlled test where everything was the same both days/rides. The vents DO work and work very well. Besides that, the wind coming up was much less with the lowers on. I’m keeping mine on

I think it makes sense - when you look at them from the front they're like a big funnel guiding air towards the engine when in motion and I guess while standing it doesn't matter much whether you have them or not. Oh and vents absolutely work, I can definitely feel it with my feet.
