My Harley indy used Lucas oil not sure that is good
My indy mechanic did the oil change in the three holes and he said he used Lucas oil because he was out of Amsoil. My indy is a good mechanic with good prices but I am not familiar with Lucas oil and I am a bit concerned that he did not use Amsoil. What you guys think.

This is why we need an oil forum.
It is a well known oil in other areas. I use it in my sxs. Granted it doesn't get miles bikes do.
I would not worry about. Do you actually do anything that pushes oil to the limit?

People dis the oil that Harley uses and yet many people have their bikes serviced by dealers. Is there thread after thread of engines going south because of it?
Some people switched to a type of oil to put in the primary only to find it affects brass, copper and similar metals. That wouldn't have happened had they used Formula+. There is threads about that on here.

Lucas oil products have been around for 30+ years. They are known to make quality products, preferred by many...
