As the title says, it keeps coming unplugged. I even trimmed some of the rubber off of the stator plug to make a stronger connection, but it's super easy to unplug. It's like it's not gripping in there properly.
Any of you ever dealt with this?

Yes, kind of a bad design. Companies even came up with a "stator plug retainer arm" to help deal with it. Google search will give you a few different versions of the retainer arm. I made my own so it only added 4 or 5 horsepower.
Ended up directly wiring the stator wires to the voltage regulator via splicing (cut, crimp, solder, adhesive lined heat shrink) when my 1 year old stator started leaking at the rubber grommet/connector at the block. Filled the hole with "right stuff" black gasket maker and problem solved. Not a single issue since, Pretty sure I used 10 gauge wire for hard wire connections. If I ever have to replace the regulator, I will install a deutsch connector. If I need to replace the stator, then I will crimp, solder, adhesive heat shrink again from inside the primary.
