Currently have Hertz hcx 165 in the fairing and infinity kappas in lowers. Looking to change out the lowers and looking at the PRV Audio 6CX380-4 Slim
was initially looking at mmats but the prv would be easier to get in Canada.
any thoughts on these as well as if my speaker locations should change as well.
Amps a stinger spx700
The brightness may be a matter of tuning by the user and can often be managed.
No one else has first hand info, opinion or thoughts on these? Where are all the valued audio folk??
Those horns will get bright for sure and the prvs need to be filtered around 100-120 hz on the lower end. I would suggest the mmats or GZ yellow baskets instead even on the stinger amp.

Thank you for the input. Was always leaning toward the mmats but not easy to get in Canada between our $ and shipping. Was hoping to find some in the forum classifieds but havent for some time now.
no easier than any of the others. The Prvs I can, which is why I asked about them. Id probably prefer the mmats but Id have to ship them to a US border town and go pick them up (about an hour away) otherwise shipping is stupid to Canada. I found a set of mmats for $220 USD shipped to the border but wasnt comfortable with payment arrangements. Anyway thats about the price Im hoping to spend . Which DD model speakers are you referring to? I can look into it.
thanks
