Adversary heated handgrip error
I have a 2024 SG last fall I installed Adversary Heated Handgrips. I installed them myself. It was not necessary to have the dealer flashed in order to work. The IFCU recently showed an exclamation point the grips won't heat. They suggested / hinted that the install was bad. So I said I'd investigate (didn't want them charging me for hours of labor). This error is intermittent. When the icon does not show the grips work. Then all of a sudden the error shows up again no heat. Has anyone had the same problem? Any thoughts, comments, advice, or solutions? These grips are very expensive. They look great but right now they're just handgrips. I want to investigate fully before have more hundreds of dollars of dealer labor charged. Thanks in advance for any help

I had that error illuminate intermittently on my Adversary grip on my 24 RG, and they replaced the faulty grip under warranty and it was good from then on..they did the install and flash for ~$200, then warranty covered the part and labor for replacement

for mine, it was just like the OP had, grip symbol with vertical exclamation point .. I don't know about any code generated, just dropped it off for warranty repair

It should be covered under P&A warranty (need to determine what that is and if yours still is covered). Sounds like a bad grip. They will need to inspect to determine I'd imagine. As long as there isn't a pinched wire somewhere, I think it would be a warranty repair.

Well, I got the bike back and they said the handgrips worked perfectly in the shop. Lol. I figured that would happen.
They did however flush the brake fluid and turned off the gold wrench. Cost me $155.
