Rear brake/running light LED issue

Rear brake/running light LED issue
Installed an LED 3157 in the GF's 2004 Sportster brake/running light, now when following her I have noticed that running light will flicker and sometimes even go out, with the standard 3157 there was no issue.
The brake light does seem to work fine.

Check that the wirs to the LED are not loose or broken.
I put one in mine, had the same issue. Found that the LED section was loose to the plastic socket. I took it apart and put it back together with siliconne; fixed.

I've put a normal 3157 back in for now, going out for a ride tonight with the GF will keep an eye to see if the regular bulb is also flickering.
eighteight the rear tail/brake light on the GF's bike uses a 3157 blade style bulb, it seems to plug in fine. I have the same LED bulb in my Sporty that I tried to put in her bike and don't have any issues.
sirrom1 was that just a 3157 bulb or the complete LED tail light assembly?
