Just an FYI for everybody. A Memphis shades windshield and a dk customs 2.5" tank lift do NOT work together. When I turn the bars all the way , the windshield quick detach clamp hits the tank. Guess I will need to remove the tank lift. Maybe at some point try a 1" or 1.5" lift?
I built a 1-1/2" lift for mine and the stock Softail Deluxe quick release hits the tank as well. Had to take the lift of for fear of damaging the tank.
I guess the Memphis Shades is way different mounting. I have a 2" lift on my Lo with no problems with the HD Nostalgia windshield. Sorry it did not work out for you.
