i installed a set of factory slim risers (lucked out and found ome used ones). took more time to track down the tools than to install. they look a little odd at first, but really change the feel of the bike.
Is your riser also super close to speedo housing? I installed one from De Luxe which people say was exact same thing but this riser is almost touching the speedo. Any chance someone can post pictures when handlebar is in max position just so I can see?
Brake line is all good as well but I dont have ABS but i believe lines are same on both models. ...snip...
I don't see how the lines can be the same with an ABS module in the
picture. There's only one line from M/C to caliper in a non-ABS system.
Not so with the ABS unit. Also, according to the P&A catalog, a new
line is required with the ABS unit.
does your bike have abs? if so did you need and extended front brake line?
thanks
Ron
Yes I have ABS, an although stock brake line did fit I felt it was a tad tight with bars turned all the way to the left. I order an extended line from Magnum Shielding and replaced it.
