just saying its not for all... I mean me now at 65 and I love to ride with the wife putting in the country...and I only take a couple 2k trip a yr.. it aint my Gig....
But that's why they make so many bikes.. to suit All our need
So enjoy your ride... I know when I was single and 25 I'd gave my Left nut to have your ride.....
You guys are right. The bike really sounds good and runs even better. Many mods inside...decided to stay stock with look. Have D&D pipe, it sounds real good...also have LSR 2-1 megaphone with no baffle I will put on when dyno time frees up. Will post sound then.
Nice- Congrats on the big inch upgrade - I hope it has been treating you well. The LSR 2-1 pipe is bad ***, I have the same one on my 2001 Big Dog FXR-style chopper. It's rocking a TP/S&S custom 108.9" Evo build and putting down 120hp/130tq to the Baker six, with a T-Man 625 cam. Gives you that "sport bike sick" feeling of acceleration. That LSR pipe is responsible for a lot the added TQ, did you try it out yet?
Would be interesting to know what the new 120R HP/TQ numbers are.
Your BO would look a tad bit sleeker without the reflectors, and powdercoat the rear fender supports gloss black. Still stock looking but those small changes really clean up the lines. JMHO.

Really what's the point of this post? Its not all about you Pops...who gives a f*ck about your "putting around 2,000 miles a year". This is about a cool bike build and a powerful engine no need for your "aint your gig" crap.
After a recent post maybe I should add that I'm 75 and do 30 to 40K a year.
My gig is riding HD's and seeing the North American Continent on HD's. The stronger the motor the better. Have a couple of 110's also but they weren't enough.
Just found out that NHRS has a 88 cu. in. kit for my Sportster!
